How we review the quality of learning quizzes
Answer, audio, and context must work together
A word and an answer do not automatically make a useful learning quiz. AllForTest checks whether hints and VQ scripts disclose the answer, whether choices are distinguishable, and whether examples are real usage sentences.
Audio is a separate quality requirement. Word, hint, listening-script, and example files must all be linked, with pace and pronunciation suited to the level. Automated checks find missing data and risk signals; people review the content before final publication.
Practical steps
- Check that hints and listening scripts do not state the answer.
- Check that examples are real usage, not repeated templates.
- Check all four quiz types together with their audio links.
Worked example
Example: Before release, revise a VQ clue that says the answer itself or choices that can be eliminated only by grammar. Play the audio and confirm that the example sentence supports the same intended meaning as the answer.

The clue describes the function without stating the answer. Each distractor is a plausible classroom object, so the learner must use meaning rather than grammar alone.
